Football and poker have a lot in common – the thrill of the game, that edge of the seat moment when one side’s luck changes for the worse, the joy of winning and the devastation of defeat.
We know you love the beautiful game, but if you want to try your hand at poker and test your skills in a different arena, you can find Ladbrokes great games here.

beckham’s free kick goal that helped england to qualify for the EUROS
I must say that Kjetil Rekdal’s goal in the WC Qualifier between England and Norway, October 1992. Proud moment for Norway, one of the greatest goals scored at Wembley.
Joe Cole’s goal against Sweden, World Cup 2006. 38, please
Beckham’s free kick against greecxe
Owen v Argentina, 42
Favourite skilfull England moment? Scholes against France, Euro 2004. Of course he was always skilfull, whichever shirt he was wearing, but he was a class apart that day – picking passes through the middle or over the top, or laying off little ones to keep possession. A masterclass, no doubt about it.
I’d prefer the 42, if possible.
Beckham’s penalty v Argentina- rubbish shot, euphoric moment!
