VIDEO: Angelo Henriquez- Manchester United’s New Signing- The Goals
Manchester United officially announced the signing of 18 year old Chilean forward, Angelo Henriquez, this afternoon following his transfer during the summer window.
Since impressing during a trial at United’s Carrington training ground a few years ago, Angelo rapidly progressed to Universidad de Chile’s first team last season and scored 11 goals in 17 appearances.
With other clubs circling, Sir Alex moved quickly to sign the striker and bring him into the first team squad where he is expected to acclimatise to English football with some opportunities in the Capital One Cup this season.
Sir Alex told ManUtd.com:
“Angelo has made a tremendous impact on the game in his short career so far. His pace is a great asset and he reads the game really well for someone of such a young age.
“We have a proud record of developing young talent and Angelo fits the profile of a United player – skilful, attacking and someone who plays the game with real flair.”
Angelo Henriquez also told the official Manchester United website that he is:
“thrilled to be joining the biggest club in the world. Manchester United is a great team and has a great manager.”

Henriquez is a good player and SAF should still do something with the defence cos of the number of goals we’ve conceeding lately and again,a defensive midfielder is still needed. get these sorted for the arrival of guardiola!

Nani has to show us he deserves playing for man united by showing his consistency.Rather than demanding rise in his wages,if he does deserves the rise,Alex wouldn’t hesitate to increase it.And i even think bebe should been given play time as well on left wing bcos he did greatly in the pre-season
